Alla brandmän i Kopparberg har sagt upp sig

SVERIGE. Samtliga brandmän på räddningstjänsten i Kopparberg har tröttnat på att varken arbetsgivare eller politiker lyssnar på dem. Därför har de nu sagt upp sig.

Från och med den första juli kommer det inte att finnas några brandmän i Ljusnarsbergs kommun. Detta då samtliga brandmän i Kopparberg har sagt upp sig då de känner att varken arbetsgivare eller politiker lyssnar på dem.

Orsaken ska vara den ansträngda situationen som rådit sedan flera år tillbaka. Svårigheten att rekrytera nya brandmän har gjort att den styrka som finns är mycket hårt pressad.

— Vi har under många år försökt få ansvariga inom ledningen och politiker att lyssna på oss och agera, men inget händer, säger en av brandmännen.

Alla de 19 brandmännen lämnade på torsdagen in sina uppsägningar till Räddningstjänsten i Västerbergslagen.
