Antisemitiska böcker förbjuds i Frankrike

FRANKRIKE. En domstol i Frankrike har beslutat att förbjuda och censurera böcker kritiska mot judar.

Fransk domstol har nu beslutat att förbjuda boken ”The anthology of remarks against Jews, Judaism and Zionism”, skriven av Paul-Eric Blanrue, samt censurera fyra böcker. Böckerna i fråga är skrivna på 18- och 1900-talet och har återpublicerats av den franske författaren Alain Soral. Böckerna som ska censureras är: Jewish France, av Edouard Drumont, Salvation through the Jews, av Léon Bloy, The International Jew, av Henry Ford och The Zion Controversy, av Douglas Reed.

Böckerna anses falla under den franska motsvarigheten till Sveriges ”hets mot folkgrupp”. Förutom att den franska staten förbjuder sin befolkning från att läsa vad de vill är Frankrike ett av de länder där ifrågasättandet av den så kallade förintelsen är förbjudet.

Domstolen dömer även Soral till att betala böter på över 70 000 kronor till LICRA (International League Against Racism and Antisemitism).
