Fyra personer skadade med stickvapen i Marseille – gärningsmannen skjuten till döds

UTRIKES. Under tisdagen gick en man, beväpnad med ett stickvapen, till attack mot människor vid huvudgatan Canebière i gamla stan i Marseille i Frankrike. Fyra personer skadades och gärningsmannen sköts till döds av polisen.

Det var under tisdagseftermiddagen som en man gick till attack mot personer vid huvudgatan Canebière i gamla stan i Marseille i Frankrike. Mannen ska ha varit beväpnad med ett stickvapen och fyra personer, tre män och en kvinna, skadades i attacken. Två av dem fördes till sjukhus och en av dem ska vara skadad i halsen. Tillståndet för personen beskrivs som ”oroande”. De andra två ska vara lindrigt skadade.

Efter attacken jagades mannen av polisen och träffades till slut av minst ett skott. Han skadades allvarligt och avled senare av sina skador. Enligt polisen ska mannen ha skjutits efter att han ska ha siktat med pistol mot dem.

Gärningsmannen var 36 år gammal och ska ha varit känd av polisen sedan tidigare. Han ska tidigare ha figurerat i en mordutredning år 2003.

En utredning av händelsen är igång men än så länge finns det inga uppgifter om att det ska röra sig om ett terrordåd.
