Inrikesministern vill se fler invandrare som poliser

SVERIGE. Den rödgröna regimen vill nu att Sveriges poliskår ska avsvenskas och fyllas på med mer invandrare.

Inrikesminister Anders Ygeman (S) går nu ut och säger att han vill att Sverige ska se till att fler personer med utländsk bakgrund blir poliser.

— Speglar man inte befolkningen i stort har man svårare att nå målen om att skapa ordning, säkerhet och trygghet. Ökar vi mångfalden i polisen får vi en bättre polis, säger Ygeman som alltså menar att utländsk bakgrund i sig på något sätt skulle vara en kompetens.

2014 låg andelen kvinnor inom poliskåren på över 30 procent och andelen personer med utländsk bakgrund var då 7,7 procent. Samma år var 5,6 procent av de ansökande till polisens grundutbildning av utländsk härkomst.

Ygeman menar att ännu fler icke-svenskar måste bli poliser men han vill inte införa generell raskvotering än utan säger att polisen ska försöka höja andelen invandrare i poliskåren med andra metoder tills vidare. Bland annat används diverse projekt där polisen exklusivt rekryterar personer av utländsk härkomst.

Historiskt har det varit ett vanligt fenomen att makthavare som saknar stöd från det egna folket tar in utländska legosoldater då dessa saknar lojalitet mot folket och därför har lättare att begå övergrepp mot civilbefolkningen.
