Invandringskritiska AfD nu näst största parti i Tyskland

UTRIKES. Det invandringskritiska och EU-skeptiska partiet Alternativ för Tyskland (AfD) har rusat i opinionsmätningarna de senaste månaderna och är nu större än Socialdemokraterna (SPD).

AfD blev tredje största parti i höstens förbundsval med 12,6 procent av rösterna. Man hamnade bakom de två giganterna inom tysk politik, Kristdemokraterna (CDU) och Socialdemokraterna (SPD).

Partiet har fortsatt växa efter valet, så mycket att man gått om SPD i tidningen Bilds senaste opinionsundersökning. Enligt den undersökningen blir AfD näst största parti med 16,0 procent av rösterna. Man petar därmed ner SPD, som får 15,5 procent av rösterna, till en tredjeplats.

Angela Merkel och koalitionen mellan CDU och CSU fortsätter att vara landets största parti och skulle få 32 procent av rösterna om det vore val idag.
