DJURPLÅGERI. En känguru på ett kinesiskt zoo har dött efter att besökare kastat sten på den, för att tvinga kängurun till att hoppa.

En känguru har dött på ett sydkinesiskt zoo sedan besökare försökt tvinga kängurun att hoppa genom att kasta den på den.

En sten träffade känguruns fot, vilket orsakade en massiv blödning som senare orsakade dödsfall.

Enligt djurskötaren Zhang händer det ofta att besökare kastar stenar på djur, bland annat för att väcka dem om de sover.

Man har dock vidtagit vissa motåtgärder, som att placera ut skyltar mot djurplågeri och rensa undan stenar i närheten av inhängnaderna.
