Massivt tapp för polisen – tre av tio har slutat

INRIKES. Tre av tio poliser arbetar inte längre inom yrket de en gång utbildat sig till visar färska siffror från Statistiska centralbyrån.

Enligt en färsk undersökning gjord av Statistiska centralbyrån har tre av tio poliser lämnat yrket. Trenden är liknande med andra samhälleliga tjänster såsom lärare och sjuksköterskor, där bland annat yrkeslärarkåren tappat hela 39 procent.

Undersökningen bygger på att man jämfört dagens antal poliser mot de antal som år 2015 befann sig inom yrket. Tappet på närmare trettio procent har således skett på bara två år.

Enligt Polisförbundets Lena Nitz hoppas man kunna fylla gapet genom att locka tillbaka poliser som har slutat. Hon säger dock att det då behövs att både lönerna och arbetsmiljön blir bättre.

Huruvida Nitz förhoppningar om att återrekrytera förlorat manskap förverkligas i framtiden står oklart. Vad som dock står klart är att allt fler studenter hoppar av polisutbildningen, något som Nordfront rapporterat om tidigare.
