Part of the intimacy with nature that you acquire, is the sharpening of your senses. Not that your hearing or eyesight become more acute, but you notice things more. In city life you tend to be turned inward, in a way. Your environment is crowded with irrelevant sights and sounds, and you get conditioned to block most of them out of your consciousness. Max von Sydow har avlidit

INRIKES. Den världskände svenske skådespelaren Max von Sydow har avlidit.

Den svenske skådespelaren Max von Sydow har avlidit idag, en dryg månad innan hans 91-årsdag.

von Sydow slog igenom i Sverige i Ingemar Bergmans Det sjunde inseglet från 1957, där han spelade schack med Döden. En av hans mest kända tidiga internationella roller var som demonutdrivande präst i Exorcisten från 1973.

von Sydow hade även roller i Conan Barbaren (1982) och Game of Thrones (2016) som Den treögde korpen.

Han var gift två gånger och fick två söner med vardera fru. Hans andra äktenskap var med fransyskan Catherine Brelet, vilket förde honom till Frankrike. Efter att ha erhållit franskt medborgarskap 2002 tvingades han att avsäga sig sitt svenska dito.
