Migrationsverket behöver tillgång till fler billiga hyresrätter

SVERIGE. I en granskning som Riksrevisionen nyligen gjort framkommer det att kostnaderna för invasionsboenden är orimligt höga. Myndigheten hade kunnat få ner kostnaderna genom att ge bort en större andel billiga hyreslägenheter till främlingarna samt varit bättre på upphandling.

Riksrevisionen konstaterar i en granskning att om myndigheterna hade arbetat mer effektivt med invasionsvågen i fjol hade kostnaderna blivit lägre. Notan för boenden under förra året beräknas ligga på strax under fyra miljarder kronor.

Över 160 000 personer sökte asyl under 2015 och Migrationsverket lyckades ge dem alla tak över huvudet. Riksrevisionen är dock inte helt nöjd utan anser att om man hade varit bättre förberedd och haft ett mer systematiskt arbetssätt hade man kunnat få ner kostnaderna. De åtgärder som Riksrevisionen pekar på är att upphandlingar av boenden måste bli bättre samt att Migrationsverket måste få tillgång till fler billiga hyresrätter.

Riksrevisionen skriver: ”Om 100 av de upphandlade platserna hade ersatts med platser i hyresbostäder hade kostnaden för 2015 blivit 5 till 7 miljoner kronor lägre”.

Var svenska ungdomar ska få tag på billiga hyresrätter framgår dock inte.
