Polisen vill bemöta ett inbördeskrig i Sverige med militärens hjälp

INRIKES. Polismyndigheten vill att Försvarsmakten ska understödja polisen när Sverige drabbas av ett ”upptrappat gråzonsscenario”, det vill säga inbördeskrigsliknande situationer.

Polismyndigheten anser att samhällsutvecklingen i Sverige har förvärrats kraftigt under senare år.

Man anser därför att det finns ett behov att utöka lagen från 2006 som anger att Försvarsmakten ska kunna hjälpa polisen i kampen mot terrorism.

”Lagens tillämpningsområde bör omfatta fler situationer än vad nu gällande ordning medger, i syfte att stärka förmågan att hantera svåra påfrestningar i gränslandet mellan fred och krig”, skriver Polisen i en hemställan till regeringen.

Bland annat föreslås militären kunna utföra särskilda ”bevakningsåtgärder” vid terroristbrott och ”andra allvarliga händelser som avviker från det normala”.

Nättidningen Fria Tider skriver att hemställan handlar om att bemöta faktiska, kommande inbördeskrig.
