Regeringen vill införa samtyckeslag

INRIKES. Regeringen presenterade under söndagen sitt förslag till en så kallad samtyckeslag. “Sex ska vara frivilligt”, sa statsminister Stefan Löfven.

I spåren av de senaste månadernas sexskandaler och anklagelser presenterade regeringen sitt förslag om en samtyckeslagstiftning vid en presskonferens under söndagen.

— Sex ska vara frivilligt, och är det inte frivilligt är det olagligt, sade Stefan Löfven under presskonferensen där även vice statsminister Isabella Lövin och justitieminister Morgan Johansson deltog.

I ett pressmeddelande förklarar regeringen att den nya samtyckeslagen innebär även innebär att två nya brott kommer införas; oaktsam våldtäkt och oaktsamt sexuellt övergrepp. Dessa brott ska kunna ge ett fängelsestraff på upp till fyra år.

Regeringen vill också höja minimistraffet för grov våldtäkt och grov våldtäkt mot barn höjs från fängelse i fyra år till fängelse i fem år.

Lagändringarna föreslås träda i kraft den 1 juli 2018.
