Tv-avgift för datorer och surfplattor i februari

SVT kommer i februari att börja sända via särskilda livekanaler på internet. Därför vill nu Radiotjänst att den som äger en surfplatta eller dator också skall betala tv-avgift.

”Den som äger en surfplatta, dator eller annan internetansluten enhet som kan användas för att ta emot SVT:s sändningar via internet måste betala tv-avgift”, uppger SVT:s VD Eva Hamilton till DN.

Även mobiltelefoner med internetuppkoppling skulle alltså kunna innefattas av tv-avgiften, men Radiotjänst har valt att inte räkna in dem. Surfplattor däremot jämställs med en dator och omfattas därför av den nya avgiften. Den som vill slänga ut sin tv kommer alltså inte undan licensen lika enkelt i framtiden.

Nio av tio hushåll betalar redan avgiften och det kommer inte att bli dyrare för att man skaffar en surfplatta eller en ny dator.
