Ukraina har beslagtagit ryskt tankfartyg

UTRIKES. Ukraina har beslagtagit ett ryskt tankfartyg i Svarta havet, enligt landets säkerhetstjänst.

En rysk oljetanker har beslagtagits av ukrainska säkerhetstjänsten i Izmail i Donaudeltat, meddelar SVT.

Ryssland anklagas för att ha använt oljetankern i samband med att ryska marinen beslagtog tre ukrainska marinfartyg och grep 24 sjömän i Kertj i november förra året. Ukraina motiverar beslaget med att tankern är ett ”bevis” för händelsen.

Ryssland och Ukraina förhandlar om frigivning av de 24 sjömännen – som fortfarande ska vara fängslade i Ryssland – mot att Ukraina släpper en fängslad rysk journalist. Men enligt SVT hotar Ryssland samtidigt med konsekvenser om inte fartyget och besättningen omedelbart släpps.

Enligt uppgift finns 15 ryska sjömän ombord på den nu beslagtagna oljetanken.
