Ungern bygger mur mot illegal invandring

VÄRLDEN. Då över 50 000 invandrare tagit sig in i Ungern via Serbien under bara de senaste månaderna har nu den ungerska regering beslutat att bygga en fyra meter hög mur för att hålla de illegala invandrarna borta.

Under det senaste halvåret har över 50 000 illegala invandrare tagit sig in i Ungern via Serbien. Det är främst personer från Syrien, Irak och Afghanistan som tagit sig in i landet.

Därför gav idag den ungerska regeringen inrikesministeriet i uppdrag att omedelbart förbereda för att bygga ett fyra meter högt stängsel längs hela gränsen mot Serbien. En sträcka på 17 mil.

Den ungerske utrikesministern Peter Szijjarto ska ha sagt att ”trycket från invandring är ett av EU:s största problem i dag och det är Ungern som drabbas hårdast av alla EU-länder”. Han ska också ha sagt att det är regeringens plikt att försvara landet från trycket från invandringen.
