Motdemonstrant bar kniv: “Hittade den på marken”

INRIKES. En motdemonstrant i 25-årsåldern åtalas för brott mot knivlagen efter att ha burit kniv i samband med Motståndsrörelsens demonstration i Göteborg. Mannen påstår dock att han hittat kniven på marken.

Under Motståndsrörelsens demonstration i Göteborg beslagtogs en kniv från en motdemonstrant i 25-årsåldern. Mannen ska enligt polisen ha varit kraftigt ordningsstörande vid Fabriksgatan i Göteborg.

Mannen förnekar brott och menar att han hittat kniven på gatan då en annan person tappat kniven. Han påstår att han behållit kniven för att han hoppades kunna återlämna den till ägaren.

Mannen är tidigare dömd för en rad olika brott, bland annat brott mot knivlagen, vapenbrott, narkotikabrott och våldsbrott. Till skillnad från de demonstranter som misstänks för våldsamt upplopp, bland annat trumslagare och en kvinnlig fotograf, hängs mannen inte ut av Expressen. Istället väljer man att pixla den misstänktes ansikte.
