Nu vill Marvel skapa hbtqp-hjältar på film

HBTQP. ”Världen är redo” för hbtqp-superhjältar på film.

I en intervju med Variety i samband med Captain Marvels premiär uttalade Marvels produktionschef Victoria Alonso att man arbetar på att få en öppet homofil superhjälte på film.

— Vår publik är global, mångfaldigad och inkluderande. Världen är redo. Världen är redo, säger en entusiastisk Alonso i intervjun.

Chefen för Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Fiege, bekräftar nu att en hbtqp-superhjälte ”perkolerar” inom MCU vid sidan av andra ”efterlängtade projekt”. Ett rykte säger att MCU aktivt vill ha en hbtqp-karaktär i filmen Eternals som väntas komma efter nästa Avengers-film.

Även om det fortfarande är ovanligt så förekommer hbtqp-karaktärer i serietidningarna. Ett exempel är Gröna lyktan som i filmen dock var heterosexuell.
