Dagens datum 18 maj: Den 18 maj 1160 mördades kung Erik Jedvardsson efter ett kyrkobesök. Efter hans död växte en helgonkult fram kring hans person som lett till att han idag anses vara Sveriges nationalhelgon.
I en demokratur råder allmänna och fria val, åsiktsfrihet råder formellt men politiken och massmedia domineras av ett etablissemang som anser att bara vissa meningsyttringar skall släppas fram.
