Minst fem döda i skottlossning på militäranläggningar i USA

USA. Under torsdagsförmiddagen skedde skottlossningar mot två militäranläggningar i USA. Minst fem personer uppges ha dödats under skjutningarna.

Under torsdagsförmiddagen rapporterades det om skottlossningar på två militäranläggningar i Chattanooga, Tennessee. Under skottlossningarna ska minst fem personer ha dödats, fyra av dem var marinsoldater.

U.S Navy bekräftar att en skjutning ägt rum mot ett rekryteringscenter samtidigt som även en annan anläggning i staden utsattes för skottlossning. Enligt vittnen kom en man till parkeringsplatsen utanför det militära rekryteringscentret omkring 10.45 lokal tid och började där avfyra ett skjutvapen. Mannen ska enligt uppgifter från den lokala polisen ha blivit skjuten till döds av polis.

Chattanoogas borgmästare Andy Berke skriver på Twitter att incidenten är fruktansvärd för samhället. Berke skriver vidare att ytterligare information kommer att släppas så fort den är bekräftad.
