Sjuårig flicka höggs ihjäl av 15-åring i England

UTRIKES. Den sjuåriga flickan Katie Rough knivhöggs till döds under måndagseftermiddagen i York i norra England. En 15-årig flicka misstänks för att ha mördat henne.

Under måndagseftermiddagen hittades sjuåriga Katie Rough svårt knivhuggen i Woodthorpe i York. Den lilla flickan fördes till sjukhus men hennes liv gick inte att rädda.

En 15-årig flicka har gripits misstänkt för mordet på Katie. I åtta minuter var hon under onsdagen i rätten där hon fick möta anklagelserna om mord och innehav av ett dödligt vapen. 15-åringen sa ingenting själv i rätten.

Händelsen har chockat många i området och eleverna på Katies skola, Westfield Primary School, har fått stöd i veckan.

— Katie var ett snällt och eftertänksamt barn som var omtyckt av både elever och personal. Hennes död är en fruktansvärd förlust som har skakat om vår skola på djupet. Våra sympatier går till hennes familj, säger rektor Tracey Ralph.
