Danska socialdemokrater vill ta bort möjligheten att söka asyl i Danmark

UTRIKES. De danska socialdemokraterna vill nu minska invandringstrycket på landet genom att reformera migrationspolitiken.

Enligt ett nytt förslag från de danska socialdemokraterna ska migranter som söker asyl vid den danska gränsen skickas tillbaka till danskdrivna flyktingläger i exempelvis Nordafrika.

Om de sedan beviljas asyl kommer de överföras till FN-drivna flyktingläger, varifrån de danska socialdemokraterna sedan tänker sig att man ska ta emot ett förbestämt antal kvotflyktingar, som kommer bli högre än dagens kvot. Dessutom kommer bidraget till UNHCR höjas.

Enligt partiledaren Mette Frederiksen är fördelen med en sådan reform att den danska regeringen själv skulle kunna bestämma vilken nivå man vill ha på invandringen. Förutom detta vill man även införa ett tak på antalet icke-västliga invandrare som ska tillåtas komma till landet.
