Sex palestinska folkförrädare ska hängas

PALESTINA. Kollaboratörer med fienden Israel måste inse att de inte kan få något skydd av den judiska staten, säger Palestina.

En militärdomstol i Gazaremsan har dömt sex personer till döden genom hängning för samarbete med Israel, enligt Palestinas inrikesministerium.

Ytterligare åtta personer fick andra straff för samarbete med den judiska staten Israel.

Vid en presskonferens hyllar Iyad al-Bozum, talesman för departementet, domarna och säger att kollaboratörer måste inse att Israel inte kan skydda dem. Brott mot det egna palestinska folket är synnerligen allvarliga eftersom den judiska staten utsätter det för ett pågående folkmord.

Det är fem män och en kvinna som ska hängas. Kvinnan dömdes i sin frånvaro och är anklagad för att ha uppmuntrat sin syskonson till samröre med israeliska underrättelseorgan.

Gazaremsan är sedan 2006 under israelisk blockad. Hamas och dess allierade rörelser har sedan dess försvarat sig mot flera militära angrepp som Israel har genomfört mot Palestina.
