Sexanmäld präst fråntas kragen

INRIKES. En präst i Halland fråntas rätten att verka som präst. Detta efter att han anklagats för sextrakasserier och anmälts till domkapitlet.

En präst i Halland har efter anmälningar om sextrakasserier blivit av med rätten att verka som präst. Det har Göteborgs stift beslutat efter de anklagelser om sextrakasserier som riktats mot honom och som anmälts till domkapitlet.

Prästen ska enligt anmälningarna ha sextrakasserat en tidigare arbetskollega och dessutom inlett en sexuell relation med en kvinna som sökt hjälp hos kyrkan på grund av drogmissbruk.

Prästens beteende beskrivs i beslutet som ”omdömeslöst och skadligt”. I beslutet står det även att prästens agerande var så grovt klandervärt att han har brutit mot de löften han angivit när han vigdes till präst.
