Bedrägerier mot äldre har fyrdubblats på fem år

INRIKES. Förra året fördubblades bedrägerier mot äldre, jämfört med året innan. Jämfört med för fem år sedan har antalet anmälningar fyrdubblats.

Under 2018 anmäldes omkring 3 700 bedrägerier mot äldre, vilket är mer än en fördubbling från året innan, enligt SVT.

Enligt polisen är det oftast ligor som ligger bakom bedrägerierna. Just nu utreder polisen en liga som är misstänkt för omkring 90 brott mot äldre personer.

Den typen av bedrägerier mot äldre som ökar mest är där de äldre blir bestulna på pengar efter att ha blivit lurade att använda sin bankdosa eller sitt BankID.
