FILM: Ryssland testar kärnvapenkapabla missiler

RYSSLAND. Putin har avfyrat fyra stycken kärnvapenkapabla missiler under en militärövning.

Under pågående militärövning utförde rysk militär tester av kärnvapenkapabla missiler. Enligt Kremlin var det president Vladimir Putin själv som tryckte på knappen för att avfyra missilerna. Missilen av typen RS-28 Sarmat avfyrades från rymdbasen Plestek, cirka 500 kilometer utanför Moskva, varifrån den färdades cirka 5 800 kilometer till skjutfältet i Kura i östra Ryssland.

Under övningen, vars mål var att testa Rysslands nukleära kapacitet, testades även beredskapen av ryska flygvapnets bombplan Tu-160 och Tu-95 samt avfyrande av kärnvapen från ryska flottans ubåtar.
