Fler asylsökande än förväntat i ny prognos

Migrationsverket har nyligen fått revidera sin prognos över hur många asylsökande som kommer att komma till Sverige år 2012. Anledningen till att dessa siffror reviderats är delvis att det skett en kraftig ökning av asylsökande från Syrien den senaste tiden, men även antalet afghaner och somalier som söker asyl i Sverige är högre än väntat.

Att fler asylansökningar kommer in till Migrationsverket är dock inte den enda nyheten i denna reviderade prognos, verket räknar nämligen också med att fler asylsökande än tidigare kommer att beviljas uppbehållstillstånd, en av anledningarna till detta är de lättnader som Migrationsdomstolen slagit fast när det gäller ID-krav för Somalier i gruppen ”anhöriginvandrare”.
