Part of the intimacy with nature that you acquire, is the sharpening of your senses. Not that your hearing or eyesight become more acute, but you notice things more. In city life you tend to be turned inward, in a way. Your environment is crowded with irrelevant sights and sounds, and you get conditioned to block most of them out of your consciousness. Obama: Jag är judisk i min själ

USA. Presidenten i USA sa att han även om han inte etniskt sett är en jude ändå är judisk i sin själ.

Det var på ett Chanukka-firande i Vita huset som USA:s president, mulatten Barack Obama, sa att han känner sig judisk i sin själ.

Det var när en högljudd person berättade att en vän till honom hade fått för sig att Obama var jude då han firade Chanukka som presidenten sa att han är judisk i sin själ.

För några år sedan blev Obama kallad för ”USA:s första judiske president” av journalisten Jeffrey Goldberg, vilket Obama sa att han var stolt över när han talade i en synagoga tidigare i år.
