Säpoagent slarvade bort tjänstevapen på tågstation

INRIKES. En agent från Säkerhetspolisen glömde en väska med både vapen och ammunition på Lunds centralstation.

En Säpoagent glömde kvar en väska innehållandes tjänstevapen, ammunition och magasin på centralstationen i Lund den 29 juni i år, rapporterar Kvällsposten.

Enligt uppgifter från internutredningen mot agenten ska denne ha drabbats av ”en känsla av panik” när misstaget insågs. Agenten tog därefter ett tåg direkt tillbaka till Lund för att leta efter väskan, som då redan hittats av ordningsvakter.

Att väskan glömdes kvar skyller Säpoagenten på ”en sekund av ouppmärksamhet” som uppstod då denne mottog ett telefonsamtal.

Enligt utredningen är detta första gången personen i fråga tappar bort ett vapen eller något annat i tjänsten, men misstaget innebar en risk att vapnet hamnade i orätta händer. Därför straffas agenten med löneavdrag.
