Antirasistiska koppar orsakade hungerstrejk

NORRTÄLJE. Hungerstrejk utbröt förra veckan på asylboendet Bergby gård. Asylsökarna blev kränkta efter att de blev tilldelade koppar med olika färg utifrån sin hudfärg.

Det var i förra veckan som ett 50-tal asylsökare startade en hungerstrejk på boendet Bergby gård. Anledningen sägs vara ett dåligt bemötande från en anställda på boendet. Den anställde ska ha tilldelat de asylboende olika färger på kopparna beroende på vilken hudfärg de har.

Den anställde på Bergby gård som de asylsökande riktat sin kritik emot berättar för P4 Stockholm att de mörkhyade personerna tilldelats vita koppar och de ljushyade svarta koppar. Den anställde menar att detta gjorts för att motverka rasism.

Enligt Bergby gårds ledning har det framkommit olika uppgifter om vad som ska ha startat hungerstrejken, men ledningen väljer i vilket fall att köpa in nya koppar med enhetlig färg.
Endast 15 personer fortsatte hungerstrejka under tisdagen. Migrationsverket anser att ansvaret för situationen på Bergby gård ligger på dess ledning, men att de kommer bevaka situationen.
