Sex av tio vill förbjuda tiggeri i Sverige

INRIKES. Enligt en färsk undersökning vill majoriteten förbjuda tiggeri i hela Sverige.

En majoritet vill se ett nationellt tiggeriförbud i Sverige. Detta framgår från en färsk undersökning som gjorts för Sveriges Radio. Antalet svenskar som vill se ett förbud mot tiggeriet är nu större än det var senaste gången en liknande undersökning gjordes, vilket var två år sedan.

Undersökningen utfördes av Novus i april och bygger på en rundringning till 1002 personer. Resultatet är intressant för ”demokratin”, då det visar på en tydlig klyfta mellan den politik som drivs och det som folket själva önskar, även under valtider.

Finansminister Magdalena Andersson tycker dock inte att ett förbud är den mest effektiva lösning på problemet med så kallade tiggare.

— Då måste polisen lägga resurser på det. Där får man naturligtvis se vad som är den mest effektiva åtgärden. Men jag tycker att det är viktigt att frågan diskuteras, säger Andersson.

Kristdemokraterna verkar däremot vara emot ett förbud, då partiets ekonomiska talesperson Jakob Forssmed säger att han tycker att folk ska ha rätt att tigga.

— Människor ska ha en möjlighet att sträcka ut en hand och be om en allmosa, säger Forssmed.
