Strängare asylpolitik i Finland än i övriga Norden visar ny statistik

FINLAND. Av alla asylbeslut som Finland fattar är till 43% negativa, visar statistik över fjolåret som den europeiska statistikcentralen Eurostat har tagit fram.

I genomsnitt är 48 procent av asylbesluten negativa i EU-länderna. Finland placerar sig på 22:a plats. Där får 43 procent av asylsökarna avslag. De nordiska länderna, Sverige, Norge och Danmark, placerar sig lägre ner på listan på grund av deras liberala flyktingpolitik.

Lettland driver den strängaste flyktingpolitiken i EU. Där får 85 procent av asylsökarna negativa besked. Även Ungern, Liechtenstein och Polen driver en mycket strängare asylpolitik, där 83 procent av asylsökarna får avslag. Lättast är det att få asyl på Malta, i Danmark och Bulgarien.

Förra året uppskattar man att det kom 1,2 miljoner asylsökande till EU-området. Sammanlagt fattades 600 000 asylbeslut inom EU förra året.
