Kraftig ökning av dödsskjutningar i Stockholm

INRIKES. Antalet skjutningar som leder till dödsfall har ökat i Stockholm. Totalt har nio personer skjutits till döds i huvudstadsområdet under 2019. Under 2018 sköts elva personer ihjäl i samma område.

I en kartläggning som SR Ekot har gjort framkommer det att antalet dödliga skjutningar i och runt Stockholm har ökat kraftigt. Nio personer har mist sina liv genom skjutningar under 2019. Detta kan jämföras med att totalt elva personer sköts ihjäl i Stockholmsområdet under hela 2018.

Enligt uppgifter som NB Nyhetsbyrån har fått från olika poliskällor säger att antalet dödsskjutna med stor sannolikhet kommer att öka ytterligare under året. Enligt poliskällorna finns det flera uppgörelser i den undre världen där man inte är nära ett avslut beträffande våld mellan olika kriminella grupperingar. Hämndaktioner och nya reaktioner är att vänta, berättar en polis med god insikt i våldsbrott i Stockholm.

Samtidigt ska antalet skjutningar med dödlig utgång ha minskat i såväl Malmö som Göteborg enligt Ekots kartläggning.
