Livsmedelsverket: 100 kilo sjukt kött konsumerades

INRIKES. 100 kilo av det sjuka köttparti som importerades från Polen gick ut till konsumtion.

Enligt ett uttalande från Livsmedelsverket har 100 kilo av ett sjukt köttparti från Polen hunnit konsumeras i Sverige. Enligt den utredning som genomförts har 14 kilo serverats på en restaurang i Uppsala och 85 kilo på sex olika restauranger i Stockholm.

Totalt fanns 1100 kilo i köttpartiet, varav 240 kilo såldes till Sverige. De delar av partiet som inte konsumerats har nu förstörts.

Det var en polsk journalist som avslöjade att kött från sjuka djur stämplades som besiktigat i strid med lagar och regler.
