Misstänkt attentat mot asylboende

SVERIGE. Tidigt under lördagsmorgonen ska asylboendet i Åstön utanför Timrå ha blivit utsatt för en attack. Enligt polisen ska någon eller några ha krossat ruta efter ruta på boendet. Polisen söker nu efter misstänkta gärningsmän.

Det var strax innan halv fyra udner lördagsmorgonen som polisen fick in ett larm om att ett asylboende i Åstön utanför Timrå i Västernorrland ska ha blivit utsatt för ett attentat. Enligt uppgifter ska två till tre Volvobilar ha kört in på gården vid asylboendet och därefter ska åtminstone en person ha klivit ut ur en av bilarna och krossat ruta efter ruta på boendet med hjälp av ett föremål.

Två polispatruller skickades ut till boendet för att hitta bilarna och gärningsmännen. Vid femtiden under lördagsmorgonen ska polisen ha hittat en person i skogen som kan ha haft något med händelsen att göra.

”De har hittat på en person ute till skogs där denne låg och tryckte inte alltför långt från boendet”, står det på polisens hemsida. Polisen misstänker att fler gärningsmän ska ha tagit samma väg, men de har inte kunnat hittas.

En brottsplatsundersökning kommer genomföras vid boendet i hopp om att hitta något som kan underlätta polisens sökande. Vittnen kommer även att höras.
