Norska kyrkan säger ja till homoäktenskap

NORGE. Under måndagen stod det klart att den norska kyrkan säger ja till homoäktenskap. 88 personer av 115 röstade för förslaget som nu alltså har klubbats igenom.

Just nu pågår kyrkomötet i norska Trondheim och under måndagen blev det ett ja till att kyrkan öppnar upp för homovigslar i kyrkan. Enligt uppgifter ska 88 personer av 115 ha röstat för förslaget.

— Det är en historisk och glädjens dag för homosexuella, lesbiska och trans- och bipersoner, säger Kristin Gunnleiksrud Raaum, nya ledaren i Kyrkorådet.

Förslaget, som nu har klubbats igenom, innebar att utveckla två bröllopsritualer och anta en könsneutral syn på äktenskapet. Minoriteten som varit emot förslaget ville bland annat utreda hur samkönade vigslar i kyrkan skulle påverka kyrkans teologiska syn på familjen i stort.

Förslaget kommer att börja gälla tidigast i januari 2017. Präster kommer dock ha rätten att kunna neka att viga samkönade par.
