UTRIKES. Ungerns ledare Viktor Orbán menar att hans land tillsammans med Italien är bevis på att illegal invandring kan stoppas.

Ungerns premiärminister Viktor Orbán hade förra veckan besök av Italiens inrikesminister Matteo Salvini. Efter mötet sa ungraren att de båda länderna är levande bevis på att illegal invandring kan stoppas, något som ibland felaktigt utmålas som omöjligt av folkutbytesförespråkare.

— Genom att stoppa migration via havet hamrade Matteo Salvini en spik i de invandringsförespråkande politikernas kista, sa Orbán.

Sedan invandringskritiker tog över makten i Italien har invasionen över Medelhavet minskat med 80 procent.
