POLITIK. Enligt en undersökning har förtroendet för den Europeiska unionen minskat drastiskt och en av de viktigaste frågorna är massinvandringen.

Intresset för Sveriges medlemskap i Europeiska unionen har minskat med tjugo procent sedan i höstas. Av 1 100 personer är det nu bara trettionio procent som tycker att det är bra att landet är med i unionen.

Undersökningen visar även att en allt större del av befolkningen är kritisk till den nuvarande massinvandringen då hela sextiotvå procent av de svarande menar att det är den viktigaste frågan. Fyrtiotvå procent uppger att även terrorhoten är en viktig fråga. ”Den ekonomiska situationen” kommer på tredje plats då sjutton procent menar att den är en viktig fråga.

— Ofta brukar svensk EU-opinion påverkas av hur medborgarna uppfattar EU:s effekt på ekonomin, men nu har det dykt upp nya frågor, säger Göran von Sydow, forskare på Svenska institutet för europapolitiska studier.
