UTRIKES. Storbritanniens premiärminister Theresa May vill skjuta upp Brexit.

Storbritanniens premiärminister Theresa May vill att Brexit ska skjutas upp. Hon har skickat en förfrågan till Europeiska rådets ordförande Donald Tusk om att datumet för EU-utträdet ska ändras från 29 mars till 30 juni. Anledningen är att det tidigare Brexit-förslaget röstats ner två gånger av parlamentet.

Labour-ledaren Jeremy Corbyn och den skotske parlamentsledaren Ian Blackford kritiserar båda Theresa Mays tilltag och vill i stället se en andra folkomröstning som de tror kommer att leda till att Storbritannien stannar kvar i EU.

Europeiska kommissionens ordförande, den ofta alkoholdrickande och alientroende luxemburgaren Jean-Claude Juncker, har sedan tidigare föreslagit en förlängning av Brexit men vill att utträdet ska ske innan EU-valet den 23 maj.
