Bilbränder och attacker mot polis i Köpenhamn

DANMARK. Köpenhamn drabbades under gårdagen av bilbränder och attacker mot polisen efter att en antiislamsk politiker kastat Koranen på marken.

Under gårdagen höll den antiislamska politikern Rasmus Paludan ett torgmöte i det invandrartäta området Nörrebro i Köpenhamn. Efter att Paludan kastat Koranen på marken bröt oroligheter ut hos de hundratals motdemonstranterna på plats. Bland annat kastades sten mot polisen.

Paludans manifestation avbröts på grund av oroligheterna, som dock fortsatte i andra delar av staden då bland annat containrar och bilar sattes i brand. 23 personer greps i samband med händelsen.

Den antiislamska politikern har dock inte gett sig utan planerar att redan på tisdag åter inta Nörrebro.
