UTRIKES. EU:s migrationskommisionär Dmitris Avramopoulos meddelade på en presskonferens idag att gränskontroller inom EU måste upphöra i november.

Vid en presskonferens idag så meddelade EU:s migrationskommisionär Dmitris Avramopoulos att EU-kommisionen inte längre kommer acceptera en förlängning av Sveriges gränskontroller mot Danmark eller andra inre kontroller inom EU.

— Det kommer inte bli någon förlängning. Gränskontrollerna går mot sitt slut om två månader. Förhållandena för att godkänna dem finns inte längre, sa Avramopoulos på presskonferensen.

Beslutet kommer innebära att Sveriges, Danmarks, Norges, Tysklands och Österrikes undantag från den fria rörligheten inom Schengenområdet löper ut den 12 november.
