Bert Karlssons drömmar om ett asylslott krossades

BLEKINGE. Bert Karlssons planer om att göra om anrika Hanöhus till ett flyktingboende har stoppats då den nuvarande ägaren skrotat projektet efter protester.

Bert Karlsson ville göra om Hanöhus, en fin hotell- och restauranganläggning i Blekinge, till ett flyktingboende.

Till och med lokala idrotts- och kulturföreningar riktade kritik mot planerna, då de ansåg att bygden behövde hotellet för att kunna ta emot betalande gäster istället för flyktingar. Lokalmedia släppte fram kritikerna på insändarsidor och proteststormen fick hotellets nuvarande ägare att backa från planerna.

Bert Karlsson, som är märkbart bitter, kommenterar flyktingmotståndet på följande vis:

— De flesta är sverigedemokrater egentligen, i praktiken. Det är ju så här att ”kärnkraft vill vi ha men inte bredvid oss” och ”vindsnurror vill vi ha, men inte utanför vår tomt”. Så är det hela tiden. Man ska ha allt hos grannen i stället.
