“Rasismen ska bort från fotbollen”

SPORT. Nu ska den påstådda rasismen inom fotboll bort och Internationella fotbollsförbundet anställer ”antirasism-observatörer”.

Internationella fotbollsförbundet, Fifa, anser att fotbollen plågas av rasism. Därför skapar man nu ett övervakningssystem där specialutbildade observatörer ska övervaka VM-kvalmatcher och rapportera överträdelser från fotbollslagens supportrar direkt till Fifa.

Förbundet kan sedan bestraffa de nationer vars supportrar inte är politiskt korrekta. Tilltaget välkomnas av en del av spelarna.

— Jag är väldigt nöjd med att Fifa ser allvarligt på den här frågan och inför konkreta åtgärder för att stoppa beteenden som inte hör hemma i vår sport, säger Manchester City-mittfältaren Yaya Touré.
